Matthew R. Marino

Industrial Designer
Picture
The only thing between imagination & reality is determination"

From the age of five I was obsessed with inventing and sketching doodles of robots that could help my grandmother around the house after her hip surgery. Now at 21 years old I have improved upon my passion to create and am determined to turn my creativity into a career. My design style can be defined as minimalist, experimental, and innovative. My designs are well thought out with great attention to the smallest of details. I take my work very personally and will carry it with me throughout my everyday life. I often take inspiration from abstract concepts such as transforming the shape of a calculus graph function into the focal point of a collapsible table. My biggest design influences are Google, Jony Ive/Apple, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg(I don't like him, but there's a lot to learn from him). I pride myself on diversity and will draw from multiple fields to create a practical, well-rounded, aesthetic product.
